This week is Kansas City Restaurant Week, an annual event involving local restaurants offering discounted prix fixe menus, and benefiting Harvesters, KC's largest food bank. Tonight the Fearless Femmes convened upon J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks and Seafood, with one common goal . . . to eat well! First course offerings included crab bisque, Ceasar salad and wedge salad; the second course brought an array of filets, scallops and crab cakes to the table; topped off by a third course of vanilla creme brulee and chocolate velvet cake! Good conversation and hearty laughs were shared over bottles of wine and cocktails.
Congrats to our waiter who is expecting twins this Spring!
